Fashion's Night Out - Houston Events

Fashion's Night Out (FNO) was founded in 2009 and is celebrating its 4th year in 2012.  The 2012 FNO is promising to be the biggest yet, and Houston retailers will be hosting events as a part of the extravaganza on Thursday, September 6th.

Tootsies
In conjunction with Culture Map and West Ave, Fashion on the Avenue from 7-10 p.m. will feature a runway show by Tootsies and the other West Ave boutiques, shopping specials, light bites, cool cocktails, an appearance by Shelley Kidney, and more.

MTYCI will be hosting its own FNO event from 6-11 p.m.  More details to come.

The Galleria
A number of stores within the Galleria will be hosting FNO events on Thursday night as well as the Simon Fashion Now Fashion Show hosted by the Galleria itself.

Here is a small sampling of the various stores and events.  Most occur from 6-9 p.m. unless noted.

Neiman Marcus will debut The Art of Fashion.  In addition, look for light bites and sips, personal appearances, special items and sales, presentations, and various other events in conjunction with FNO.

Saks Fifth Avenue will host special appearances and performances and have limited-edition items for sale.  In addition, the La Prairie counter in the store will host special events until 11 p.m. that evening, including a complementary mini-manicure with your choice of color (Caviar or Power blue).

Henri Bendel will give a special gift with purchase of its special FNO t-shirt that evening only (until 11 p.m.).

Tiffany & Co. is celebrating its 175th year and will have art, tunes, treats, and fashion.

Outside of Houston
Market Street in the The Woodlands is also holding its own FNO events.  A full listing of the various events will be available here on Monday, September 3rd.
